According to everything I have read so far most of the small parts where made by other companies and the bluing will not match the frame and slide. All the information from the seller and from his records from buying it at auction note that the frame and slide have matching bluing (dulite) and look the same shade and have the same amount of wear. Main spring is arched with checkering, slide stop and saftey is checkered, and hammer has checkering. Barrel has P and HS (High Standard) stamp on link area and is blued with some wear from what appears to be from use/firing. The bluing on the 1911a1 has some what looks like holster wear and some wear from shooting. Rear under the slide serrations has the cannon barrel proof mark though a little light of a stamp. Has P proof next to mag release and FJA under slide stop. The serial number has the No with the line under the little o. This one has holster wear on the dulite finish and based on the serial number was made in Jan or Feb 1943 though there is not a lot more on this specific gun. I have been doing some research on this one and it seems like it has all the right parts to be original but I doubt it can be proved.
